Oversize Endorsements

At ALLCOM Insurance, we understand Oversize and Overweight Load Permits! The Federal government does not issue permits for oversize or overweight vehicles. This is a State option and it is up to each State to issue the Permit. Our agents can assist you in obtaining all of the proper paperwork and insurance in order to get you on the road.

The following are the Federally mandated maximum weights for the National System of Interstate and Defense Highways and reasonable access thereto:

  1. 80,000 pounds gross vehicle weight

  1. 20,000 pound single axle weight

  1. 34,000 pound tandem axle weight

Each State has its own rules and we can certainly explain them to you as well as provide you with a quote!

Permits may be issued by the States without regard to the axle, gross or Federal bridge formula requirements. ALLCOM Insurance can help you navigate these Endorsements!
